Terms of Service

One SOS does not replace government emergency numbers
One SOS coordinates ambulances and hospitals, but it is not a government emergency service. If you are in danger and cannot get help through One SOS, call 112 or 108. Response depends on ambulances, hospitals, network coverage and device permissions we do not control, so we cannot guarantee that help will arrive or how quickly.
1. Agreement
These terms apply when you use the One SOS apps or platform. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service. If you use One SOS on behalf of a hospital or ambulance agency, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
2. Who may use One SOS
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Responder accounts — ambulance drivers, paramedics and hospital staff — may only be used by people authorised by a registered agency or hospital, and only for their duties.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information — dispatch decisions are made from what you provide
- Keep your login and one-time codes to yourself
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Raise a false or malicious emergency. Doing so diverts an ambulance from someone who needs it and may be a criminal offence
- Impersonate another person, agency or hospital
- Interfere with the platform, or attempt to access data belonging to others
- Use responder tools, live location or patient information for anything other than responding to an emergency
We may suspend or remove accounts used this way, and may report misuse to the authorities.
5. Ambulances and hospitals
Ambulance agencies and hospitals on One SOS are independent organisations. They are responsible for their vehicles, staff and the clinical care they provide. One SOS coordinates the request; it does not provide medical treatment or transport, and does not supervise the care given.
6. Charges
The One SOS apps are free to use. Ambulance transport, treatment and hospital services may be charged by the provider delivering them. Any fare estimate shown in the app is indicative and not a binding quote.
7. Availability
We aim to keep One SOS running at all times, but it may be unavailable during maintenance, network failures or events beyond our control. The service is provided on an "as available" basis.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, One SOS is not liable for the clinical care provided by an ambulance agency or hospital, for delays or non-arrival caused by traffic, network coverage, device settings or responder availability, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
9. Your data
Our handling of personal, location and health information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date above will change and significant updates will be notified in the app. You can stop using One SOS and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
