Delete your One SOS account

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data from One SOS, and what we are required to keep.

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This applies to the One SOS, One SOS Ambulance and One SOS Hospital apps, published by V4-Lab Software Solutions.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to care@onesos.in with the subject Account deletion request.
  2. Send it from the email address registered to your account, or include the mobile number you use to sign in, so we can verify the request is yours.
  3. Tell us whether you want your whole account deleted, or only specific data (for example your saved medical details or emergency contacts) while keeping the account.

We confirm receipt within 3 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You do not need to have the app installed to make a request.

Responder accounts โ€” ambulance drivers, paramedics and hospital staff โ€” are issued by an agency or hospital. Those users should also contact their organisation, which controls the account.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, mobile number, email address
  • Medical details you saved, such as blood group, allergies and conditions
  • Emergency contacts you added
  • Saved addresses and places
  • Your device push notification token
  • Location history associated with your account

What is kept, and for how long

Records of an emergency are not only about you โ€” an ambulance crew and a hospital acted on them, and they may be needed as evidence of what care was given. We therefore keep a record of past emergencies for up to 7 years, as medico-legal records generally require in India.

These retained records are de-identified where possible: your name and contact details are removed, leaving the case reference, timestamps, the responding ambulance and hospital, and the clinical handover information.

We also keep whatever a law, regulator or court specifically requires us to keep, for as long as that requirement lasts.
